10 Things To Do To Feel Productive At Home (Before Noon)

You’ll love these simple 10 things to do to feel productive when you’re stuck at home!

Whether you are a stay-at-home mom or stay-at-home wife, or simply you have a day off, it’s easy to feel “lazy” or feel like you didn’t accomplish anything.

By the time noon rolls around you might start to panic that the day is gone and nothing is done.

It’s okay to have slow days but if you are wanting to feel a little accomplished I have 10 very simple things for you to do that’ll make you feel like you’ve done a good bit before noon!

You don’t have to do all of them. Just doing a couple of will help you feel productive.

1) Wake Up Before 9 AM

Now if you are a mom then most likely you already have this one covered. This means you are already being productive! If you’re not already waking up at 9 am or earlier then give this one a try and see how you feel!

2) Stay Off Your Phone Till After Breakfast

Doing this will make you feel very accomplished. Try not to go right for your phone the minute you wake up.

Give yourself time to just enjoy the morning with no distractions.

Letting yourself scroll through social media might cause you to sit there for hours before you realize it’s time to get up.

3) Make The Bed

Making your bed is the very first chore of the day- and if it’s the only one so be it!

But I guarantee that just by doing your bed you will feel ready to keep going!

4) Get Dressed

Even if you will be spending the day at home, get ready and dressed. It will help you feel ready to tackle the day.

5) Read/ Devotional Time

Find a good book or simply have some devotional. Doing so helps wake you up.

6) Work Out

Working out and getting your heart pumping is already a productive thing. If you are able to squeeze this into your morning- you’re already doing enough!

7) Have Breakfast

Having a good breakfast is important to be able to function properly!

8) Make A Plan For The Day

Creating a plan in the morning for the rest of the day is a job in itself. It will help you see all the tasks you have easily!

9) Throw In A Load Of Laundry

Laundry isn’t a favorite of mine, but throwing in one load and letting it wash while you have breakfast is a huge time saver and will work out better in the long run.

10) Go Outside For At Least 10 Minutes

Fresh air provides us with what we need for our mental health. Spending just 10 minutes outside (maybe while having your morning coffee) will do wonders for you and how you feel throughout the day!

Every day will be different but I guarantee that if you do these 10 things or some of them you will feel like you’ve done a lot and it will save you from feeling guilty!

If you are a mom tho then even without these things you are already doing so much! These are just the bonus things!
