How To Stay Focused On The Positive

We tend to quickly forget what we have in life and focus on what we don’t have. Let’s find out how to change our mindset and stay focused on the positive!

stay focused on the positive

Generally, I think most people focus on the next thing they can achieve in life as soon as they have reached one of their goals.
Our prayer list is sometimes used as a to-do list for God, checking off one answered prayer and then the other, rarely stopping to catch a breath.
We forget to stop and be grateful for the things we once longed for and prayed for. And because of that, we are left feeling unhappy and unsatisfied with life.
Learning to fix our focus just a little can change our life completely.

This post is all about how to stay focused on the positive!

how to stay positive when feeling down

1) Don’t Compare Yourself To Others

I’ve mentioned this one before. Comparing yourself to others is probably the number one joy-taker. It will cause you to lose focus on what’s in front of you. And you will end up focusing on things you don’t have.
If you see yourself comparing even something small, stop yourself right away! Working on this one will start that change you need!

2) Remind Yourself Of Your Answered Prayers

Once in a while, take a step back. See all the good things and all the answered prayers you already have. Reminding yourself of answered prayers will be very eye-opening and put your right back on track!

3) Have A Gratitude Journal

Having a gratitude journal is so important and so helpful! What this is, is basically, every day, you write down a few things you are grateful for. Doing this will change the way you think and help you realize just how blessed you really are. Try it out and see for yourself!

4) Let Yourself Find Joy In The Little Daily Things

Last but not least, let yourself find joy in daily things too. Everyone has problems, some bigger and some smaller. Try not to let your big problems affect your daily happiness.
