What You Need:
- 5-7 Eggs
- 2-3 Tablespoons of Mayo
- 3 Garlic Cloves
- Small Handful of Shredded Mozzarella
- A Pinch of Chili Lime Seasoning
- A Pinch Of Red Pepper Flakes
- A Pinch Of Black Pepper
- Bacon
- Chives
1) Boil the eggs:
Start by boiling a pot of water. Once the water is boiling, carefully place the eggs in the water. Boil the eggs for about 8-10 minutes. Once the eggs are done, please place them in a bowl of ice water to cool them down.
(If you struggle to get that perfect boiled egg that peels easily (like me) I really recommend this OXO egg timer! I have been using it for a couple of years and it really does the job right! It pierces the egg before boiling and makes peeling quick and easy!)
2) Peel the eggs:
Once the eggs are cool, gently tap them on the counter to crack the shells. Peel the shells off the eggs, being careful not to damage the whites.
3) Cut the eggs:
Slice the eggs in half lengthwise. Carefully remove the yolks from the whites and place them in a separate bowl.
4) Make the filling:
In the bowl with the yolks, add mayo, shredded mozzarella, garlic, chili & lime seasoning, pepper flakes, and black pepper and mix until well combined.
5) Fill the egg whites:
Use a piping bag or a plastic bag with a corner snipped off to fill the egg whites with the yolk mixture.
6) Add toppings:
Once the eggs are filled, add toppings of your choice. I recommend using bacon and chives.
7) Serve:
Serve the deviled eggs on a platter and enjoy!
