Maybe you’ve been thinking about finally organizing your fridge or that cabinet underneath the sink in an aesthetic way. But when you look a little deeper, you will realize that organizing your household by categories holds so much more benefits than looks.
I fell into that realization when ordering groceries one morning and seeing how easy it was since I could see exactly what needed to be restocked.

This is mostly for the fridge. Having a categorized fridge is like having a fill-the-blank grocery list. Especially if you are ordering your groceries, you open the fridge and start from the first shelf. If your certain product like tomatoes, for example, isn’t there, you know you are out and it’s not somewhere behind the milk. You stop overbuying things and stick to what you see.
