1) Black Storage Bins
These black heavy-duty bins are a must especially if you are moving out of state. You won’t have to worry about it ripping or breaking because of the weight in it, throughout the ride.
On top of that, they’re perfect for items that don’t need to be unpacked right away. You can keep them in a storage room.
They sell them on Amazon, Home Depot, and Costco, so choose your pick!
2) Cardboard Boxes
Cardboard boxes are good if you are moving locally and for lighter items, like shoes. They can still work for a long-distance move just be extra cautious with it!
3) Bubble Wrap
You can use towels or even socks when packing fragile items but again if it’s a long drive, I wouldn’t risk it! I love this bubble wrap from Amazon since it has a place to easily rip off a piece about every 12″!
4) Painters Tape Or Moving Labels
If you don’t want to get confused about what is where purchase some painter’s tape or moving labels.
I use painter’s tape and use a sharpie to label all of my bins and boxes!
5) Sharpie Markers
Sharpie markers are the best for labeling as they dry and stay on. You don’t have to worry about it fading away by the time you reach your destination!
6) Heavy Duty Scissors
Having a good pair of scissors on hand is also a must! You never know when you will need to cut the tape or bubble wrap an extra time!
7) Scotch Heavy Duty Packaging Tape
And of course, heavy-duty packing tape. The tape will help keep all the boxes in place without getting too wobbly! Also if you are moving any small food containers that are full, seal the top with tape to prevent any spills!
