After following these steps once, I guarantee that it will be the only way you will want to clean your room from now on! (at least, I hope!)

How To Clean Your Room Fast
How To Clean Your Room In An Hour
1) Take Off Extra Items On Your Dresser Top (And All Other Surfaces)
- Clothes (put on bed)
- Trash (on the floor)
- Extra Books (on bed)
Take off everything that does not belong on the dresser top. (Even if that means putting things on the floor for now)
Only leave items that are there specifically for decor.
Repeat this for any other dressers or desks you have.
We will circle back to the items step by step.

2) Put All Clothing In A Basket Or Put Away If You Have the Time
*If you have the time and are willing, follow the steps below, if you are rushing, I recommend using a basket to put clothes in until you have the time to put them away!*
This step is the only one that will take you longer than the rest!
I Am providing exactly how I do it, you can choose to follow any method that Is the best fit for you!
a) Pick Up Clothes From Floor (Put On The Bed)
All the clothes that are on the floor toss them onto the bed. Doing so will help you see all the clothing in one spot.
This will make it easier to see what items need to go to the laundry and what items need to be put away.
All of the clothes that you had throughout the room should be in one pile on the bed.
b) Take Away All Unclean Clothes From Bed Pile
This step should be done quickly. Right now, all of your clothes are in one big pile; sort through them, only taking out the clothing that needs to be put into the laundry.
Take the laundry pile away, and now all you should have is a pile of clean clothes ready to be hung up or folded.
c) Divide All Clothes To Fold /Hang Up Pile
From the one pile that is on the bed, make two, clothing that needs to be folded, and clothing that is meant to be hung up.
This will make it is easier for you to put away the clothes. After you have two piles made, start folding your items.
d) Fold/ Hang Up Clothes
After you have folded all your clothing that needs to be folded, put away the folded stack of clothes and hang up the rest.
At this point, all of your clothes should be put away and out of sight.
6) Put Away Books
If you have any books in your room, now would be the time to put them back into their designated spots.
Make sure you pick up all books from the floor, bed, and anywhere else they would have gotten to!
7) Pick Up All Trash
Grab a trash bag and pick up all the trash and empty water bottles that have added up from the past days.
Make sure to check under the bed and on nightstands!
8) Make Your Bed
Usually making the bed is on the top of the list, but since I use the bed to sort all the clothes that are around the room, I do it close to the end.
9) Sweep/Vacuum
Depending on your floor type, sweep or vacuum your room.
Cleaning the floor is the last step, and at this point, your room should be clean and tidied up.
This post was all about how to clean your room fast!
This cleaning guide takes about 30 minutes!
(it also depends if you have extra stuff to clean up, for example; if you’re putting up a Christmas tree, it might take longer)
It should help you clean your room more efficiently and quickly!
